“True Colors Home Decorating” is proud to be an independent Benjamin Moore paint seller, serving the Montpellier, MA communities.

True Colors is a family owned business, which could not exist without the support of family, friends, and our local community. We are proud to be a viable part of Montpelier where we can participate in the local economy. We use local vendors and services when ever possible and donate to local charities, schools, and other nonprofit organizations. Montpelier is a small town, and because of that we are able to be on a first name basis with most of our customers. It is their trust in us that has made True Colors the success it is today.

Personnel:

Bill Mc Quiggan:
I am the President of True Colors Home Decoration Inc. I learned retail business management the old fashioned way: from my Dad. He had three small convenience stores in Quincy, Massachusetts. My first year out of high-school I was made manager of one of those stores, and this became my introduction to small business management. In 1980 I entered into a management training program for Hancock Paint, where I learned everything about the world of paints from production to application to home decoration management. During my time with Hancock Paint I managed three different stores. In 1985 I became manager for Rubel Home Decorating in Barre, Vermont where Ben Rubel taught me the meaning of living in Vermont.

Kath Natzke:
Kath is a graduate of the U.S. school of paper hanging in Vermont. Prior to working for True Colors she had her own highly successful painting and paperhanging business. There is little about decorating, painting, or wallpapering that she does not know. Kath has been the manager at True Colors for thirteen years. She handles all of the ordering and scheduling here. Her skills make it possible for me to pursue outside sales. Kath pretty much runs everything. She is the heart of True Colors.

Kathy Leith:
Kathy has been balancing our books since 1991. Although technically she is not employed by True Colors she has been a good friend. Her organizational and bookkeeping skills have been a great asset to us.

Thor Richardson:
Every organization needs a super hero. Thor has single-handedly taken over blind production here at True Colors. He can repair just about any blind that comes in, and can help with any blind questions you may have. In addition to his blind skills he is very good at paint mixing and matching.

Rosie Mc Quiggan:
Rosie is very helpful with customers and bails us out when we need to get caught up on blind orders. She is wonderful in every way, and yes, she is my daughter.

Sean Mc Quiggan:
My son Sean also helps us out during the very busy spring and summer seasons. He is very knowledgable about paint, and very good at color matching. This gives him the opportunity to make some money for college expenses.

Mongo:
Although she is short, cute, and not a very good guard dog, she is our favorite mascot here at True Colors. Everyone loves her and all she asks for is a little pat on the head once in a while, or better yet, an occasional doggie treat.
